Pinkies Blog Hop: Spring/Summer catalogue

I think it's great to see all projects, so versatile and gorgeous!

For this blog hop, I made four cards with the Label Card Thinlits. This set of thinlits is just so easy to use...you create a great card in a wink! Just embellish with some patterned paper, some small items from the thinlits set and a stamp, and you're done. Take it a step higher? Use ribbon, an embossing folder, washi tape or buttons.

 

For all four cards I used the Retro Fresh DSP. Really love it, this paper is absolutely one of my faves from this catalogue! The text stamps are from a FREE Sale-a-Brations stamp set called "See ya later". Really great, and so versatile! I stamped the stamps with my Stampin' Write markers. This way you can choose a fitting color for each part of your stamp. Just colour each part with makers in different colors, and then stamp it on your paper. Done!

 

For the left card I used three strips of Retro Fresh washi tape, some Essential Wooden elements.

On the card on the right, I used the Decorative Dots embossing folder (FREE Sale-a-Bration item!) and glued a strip of Natural 5/8" chevron ribbon from the left to the right. The ribbon looks a bit sturdy in the catalogue to me, but it is actually a really soft and smooth ribbon, love to work with it! Two banners were punched with the Banner punch (also a FREE Sale-a-Bration item!). The last thing I added was the button (from the Basic Metal Buttons) with some Whisper White Baker's twine.

These two cards I kept really simple.

I "extended" the card on the left, so there is more space to write a message to the recipient.On this card I added some chevron ribbon and a button again and two strips of washi tape.

The right card was decorated with the Arrows embossingfolder and two different diecutted arrows. They come in the Label Card thinlits set! How cute is that? You don't just have the thinlit to cut your card with, but also 10 smaller items to decorate your card! Some bling bling added, and another card done ;-)

So, now it is time to do some more hopping to look at the project ... has made!

a Very Merry Christmas!

Afgelopen zaterdag mocht ik hier in Heijningen in het Pestalozzihuis een demo geven. Tijdens het traditionele kerststukjes maken, kreeg ik een tafel ter beschikking om al mijn spulletjes op uit te stallen, en iedereen te laten zien wat Heijningen nog meer biedt ;-).

Ik heb alllll mijn gemaakte kaartjes meegenomen, een hoop stempelsets en bijbehorende dies/ponsen, en uitgestald. Het zag er gezellig uit!

Omdat de dames natuurlijk voornamelijk bezig waren met hun kerststukjes, ben ik ondertussen ook lekker aan de slag gegaan. Ik had 20 kerstkaartjes voorbereid.

Twintig basiskaartjes, geschulpte rondjes en labeltjes en 40 gewone cirkeltjes thuis alvast uitgestanst met o.a. de Circle Card Thinlits....

 ....zodat ik ter plekke deze kaartjes kon maken!
Alleen nog maar stempelen, lijmen, en washitape erop....klaar! Leuk klusje om tijdens deze twee uurtjes te doen.

Zoals gezegd heb ik mijn Circle Card Thinlits dus gebruikt, met het cardstock in Old Olive en Cherry Cobbler. Verder het Season of Style Washitape en designpapier, en de stempelset "Wishing you". Ik heb de stempels ge-inkt met mijn Stampin'Write Markers in Cherry Cobbler en Old Olive en op Whisper White cardstock afgedrukt. Wat is dat toch een uitkomst als je je stempel in één keer in verschillende kleuren af wilt drukken!

Toen de dames klaar waren met hun kerststukjes, was ik al een heel eind met mijn kaartjes. Heerlijk! Drie kaartjes kregen ter plekke een nieuwe eigenaar, net als drie notitieblokjes (postje hierover volgt) en er was ook een aantal dames heel benieuwd naar de mogelijkheden omtrent de workshops die ik geef.

Al met al een zeer positieve, leuke en gezellige middag dus! Dames van de dorpsraad, nogmaals bedankt dat ik mocht komen!

Pinkies Bloghop Autumn/Winter catalogue!

 For today I made a card featuring the really sweet snowman from the Snow Day stampset:

Don't you just LOVE him to bits??? He is really too cute! This fantastic stampset comes with a few accesoires for our little guy, such as a sock, a small heart, a star and a snowflake. The sentiment is also included in this stampset, really love it!

I used the Season of Style DSP-stack. This stack holds 48 sheets of 11,4x16,6 cm. That's just a great size for cards. Did you know I used only one sheet of paper??? There are 2 different sheets in this stack, both doublesided, so you'll have 4 designs to choose from. Just great when you have to make a bunch of Christmascards!

The cardbase and label with our Mr.Snowman on it are Crumb Cake Cardstock. The DSP is matted with Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The little label and the sentiment are Old Olive cardstock. For the small label on the right I used a framelit from the Chalk Talk Framelits.

And then...another favourite of mine from this catalogue: the Season of Style Washi tape! This comes in a set of 3 rolls, each containing 5 metres of yummy yummy tape. Just position it (and reposition when it isn't in the right spot) and tear!

 And voilá, a really great accent on the card. 

And did you know there are lots of other things that can be done with this gourgeous tape? Look at the tealight-holders....;-) They are from IKEA for just €2,00 for 12 of them! Put a little piece of tape around them and you just made yourself a really great gift which everyone will love with the holidays soon being here!

Goedemiddag iedereen!

Eindelijk weer eens twee kaartjes van mij om te laten zien. 

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad, inmiddels zit mijn eerste werkweek er weer op, 

dus hebben we de vakantiemodus maar uitgeschakeld ;-)

In de vakantie ben ik heerlijk bij Marijke wezen knutselen. En omdat zij nu een prachtig ruim huis heeft, kon David ook meekomen en lekker blijven slapen. Hij wilde zooo graag logeren bij tante Marijke! Toen hij op bed lag, hebben wij heerlijk zitten prutsen, en hebben we weer eens ouderwets doorgehaald, mét een glaasje Baileys erbij hihi!

Deze kaartjes heb bij ik Marijke naar aanleiding van een voorbeeld op Pinterest gemaakt. 

Wat een bron van inspiratie is dat toch!

Als basis heb ik een kaart van Whisper White cardstock gebruikt.  Vervolgens nog een stukje Whisper White gepakt, en daarop heerlijk aan de gang gegaan met de Washitape die bij de Gingham Garden papiertjes hoort, de Papillon potpourri en de Six Sided Sampler  (die mocht ik van Marijke gebruiken, thnx!) De gebruikte kleuren zijn Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo en Island Indigo.  Het tekstje komt ook uit de Six Sided Sampler stampset. Het roze matje is een stukje Melon Mambo cardstock. Wat een heerlijkheid toch dat alle kleuren van alle materialen op elkaar aansluiten...geniet daar nog steeds van!
Ondertussen loopt de 4 halen 3 betalen actie voor het designpapier nog steeds. Profiteer ervan zolang het kan, want deze actie geldt tot 31 augustus. Ook staan de nieuwe data voor de inloopavond en verzamelbestelling online. Wil je aanmelden of bestellen? Even een mailtje sturen!
